Google API Website Design
A portfolio website, much like the one you see here, was created to demonstrate the use of HTML coding, javaScript, Css styling and the Google Maps API (Application Program Interface). Demonstrated below, is an embedded web map, with the Holland Marsh (study location for my Niagara College Thesis). The boundary and river overlays are generated using xml files, hosted on the internet and called upon on-click. This map also demonstrates the Bicycle route function. This route is created from Brock University (where I obtained my B.Sc) to Niagara College (where I obtained my GIS:GM Post Graduate certificate) which I have traveled a few too many times.
