Hello, my name is Josh Valenti, from Hamilton Ontario, Canada. I completed a B.Sc in Physical Geography from Brock University and am currently working towards a GIS: Geospatial Management Post Graduate Certificate from Niagara College. Over my years in academia, I have specialized in a variety of geospatial techniques, with experience in the collection, documentation and warehousing of data from the field, and laboratory environments.
On my spare time, you can find me with friends and family, usually playing some kind of sport or on an adventure outdoors. Growing up I played competitive hockey during the winter, and attempted to be a golfer during the summer months. I love to be outdoors, preferably by the water, however I even enjoy the cold, as demonstrated by a trip to the 2014 NHL Winter Classic. I attended the winter classic with my family and friends, along with 105,000 other family and friends, on what could be the coldest outdoor game of our generation!
